So many of us are wearing face masks (again), and whether you're wearing one all day at work or just to pop somewhere on public transport or to the shops, they can have implications for both your skin and your makeup routine. If you're wearing your mask for a long time, friction can cause blemishes to occur. Also, you may get sweaty which could lead to clogged pores. Be sure to gently exfoliate your skin at the end of a day wearing a mask, this will prevent breakouts. Tape the Top
If you wear glasses, you will find that they can steam up when you wear a face mask. Take some bandage tape (the type that isn't too sticky) and use it to tape the mask down at the top where it sits across your cheeks. This will stop your breath travelling up to your glasses and leaving them steamed up. Just be sure to thoroughly cleanse and moisturiser your skin afterwards.
Play Up Your Eyes
A bold lip is likely to transfer onto your mask, so play up your eyes instead. Brows, eyeshadow, liner, lashes, you name it!
Go Light on That Base
