I'm Obsessed With Face Mists and This Is Why You Should Be Too
I have an addiction and that addiction is face mists. I've worked in beauty for over 15 years and am never far from a face mist. When I worked in an office they littered my desk. These days I have them by my bed, in the bathroom, the kitchen and in my tote bag. For anyone who hasn't used a face mist before there are two distinct categories: the hydrating and refreshing face mists and the makeup setting face mists.
My favourites are mostly in the former category, I love the hydrating feel of a cooling face mist on a hot day. They are often packed with nourishing ingredients like rose, aloe and essential fatty acids. I'll mist my skin before applying my makeup and during the day to refresh my foundation. Most have amazing spa-like scents and taking a moment to spritz my face with one is a lovely, quick, stress-reliever. During a busy day, it's good for the mind, body and soul to take a few moments out to sit, breathe and reset. My face mist reminds me to do just that.
Then, there are the makeup setting face mists. Huda Beauty's Resting Boss Face, €28, will set makeup in place. You may or may not want to use a setting spray like this every day but it will help your makeup stay in place all day which is ideal for a special occasion like a summer wedding.
